I saw a strange light in the Eastern horizon of Oklahoma last night. Really wierd!

I was sitting on my front porch about 11"30 last night and i saw a bright star in the east. As i was staring at it the start began to get brighter until it grew aboyt 4 times the size and was blinding, then it began to dim and it moved southward. I ran into the house to grab my binocs, (about 2 seconds) when I looked it was gone.

Anyone else seen something light that? I thought it might have been a plane with a spotlight, but spotlight just comes on, does´nt gradually become brighter.
Just thought I´d post it in hopes someone saw it or might have an explanation for it.
