Speaking for the US, we get inundated with sex and violence in the media. It is in video games, it is in movies & Tv. People see it and act it out themselves, especially the young. Then other people see those acting it out and there is ANOTHER influence to the 2nd or 3rd degree.

OP, we have something like chakras and if you already familiar with them, everything the TPTB shoots at the people are aimed towards ONLY the lower chakras. Concerned about survival, sex, food, etc. Everything below the belly button, the elite use against you and most never develop the heart or head stuff. They just live almost as an animal does.

We are all so obsessed with sex because we think it will make us happy. Sex is in the media a lot simply because sex sells. I think this forum gives the media a lot of credit for "brainwashing" certain ideas into peoples minds ON PURPOSE, when in reality, they are just trying to make money.
Humanity has loved sex before the TV was invented. I don't think there is much of a correlation at all.
The idea that the media is exposing people to sex at a younger and younger age, and it's effect, is a whole other argument.
