DO others here on GLP have weird neighbors? WHAT the hell is wrong with people today? This is a neighbor complaint thread.

I have to communicate with my neighbor via text message. He's THAT paranoid. He would never ever answer the door LOL

My neighbor is Bi-polar and has many guns. He threatened to blow everyone away at his last job after being fired.

Other then that he's pretty cool.

My neighbor is the community talk-about-everyone-on-the- street gossip lady. She doesnt know much about me and I intend to keep it that way. She really really tried in the beginning when i moved here 3 years ago she came out every single time I was out in the garden and tried to pump me on info. I was quiet and replied yes or no so now she doesnt bother me anymore. No gossip about me, boring person or maybe she thinks I am just plain rude i dont know i dont care.

same here, boring person, not anyone any modern contemporary woman under 30 would want to get to know unless they are into boring shit like gardening or hiking, nature shit.

I'm in the desert country. WEIRDEST MOST AWFUL NEIGHBORS I'VE EVER HAD.

Last January, while out hanging up clothes, I saw next door neighbor (crazy and a real asshole to boot) shoot our toy Chihuahua in the abdomen - doggie died a horrible death. He'd obviosly been feeding the pup to get him over there. Sheriff's deputy didn't give a damn. The shooter is a registered sex offender and felon, offered to have "Deputy- Dog" come in and inspect his guns! Deputy just blew it off, the wimp.

So not only is my neighbor crazy and dangerous (I can't prove it, but he emptied my propane tank TWICE, has let all the air out of my tires, left dome light on so battery runs down, and, lately has tightened up the gas line so the car couldn't idle, also loosened spark plug wire, all this to keep my friend, who recently worked on the car, from coming around anymore. A friend of hers who has grown up here says neighbor is a "real bad-ass", when he was here before he went to prison, a woman disappeared to be found in the desert two years later.), the sheriff's department is obviosly not right either.

So I sleep with weapons handy.

Other two houses down, maybe a mile away, the really old fellow, going senile, lost his Rotweiller. (Guess how?) Anyway, the old geezer told me that he saw us load his dog into a friend's pickup.

Old geezer's son and wife, next door to Old Geezer, are thoroughly unpleasant people; when I'm out on my bike with two remaining doggies, if they drive by, they usually stop and yell at me for whatever. Or they drive by scowling.

Why me? Why so many screwballs right here near our place?
The other people in the area are typical country people, friendly and polite.

I'm waiting for my neighbors to be raptured.

Please god, take them away.

I love my place, have put three years of hard work into growing trees, landscaping and garden. But you're quite right. I know I can take care of myself (Watch out for sweet little old ladies!), so maybe I'm staying so I can get a chance at creepy next door? Human psychology is convoluted, for sure. Out little dog was like our child. We greived for months and months. (I'm alone now, however. No biggie, I traveled alone all over the West for five years, living out of a tent. This was in my early sixties.)

Old boyfriend - Well, he's actually the age of my oldest child lol - black belt in Taekwando (so is my grandaughter), may come back to live here. Or I'll move to where he is now. We'll see.

I have weird ass neighbors.

I am a very sweet person and am always very cordial and wave and say hi.

Several of my neighbors act like they have a big corn cobb up their ass (perhaps they do) and just act like I dont exist. They are very RUDE!!!

Guy who moved in next door does not appear to work, yet has a 2 bedroom apt.

When he moved in he did not realizee the walls are paper-thin.
He and his gf got frisky and I heard their 2 bodies slapping together the first Sat nite. Still haunts me.
