Here´s another one. During solar eclipses, we are always told not to look at the sun because the rays could blind us.

I think I understand the sciene there -- the sun emits a variety of rays on different frequencies

**Yes Indeed It Does !! ... One Promotes The Particular Degeneration Called: "Old Age Sickness" !!

but the sun´s brightness prevents us from looking at teh sun too long and being overexposed to these frequencies.

But here´s another thought... one I´ve had since I was a kid... maybe the eclipse taboo has something to do with what can be seen during the eclipse. Are ships and beings near the sun visible during an eclipse?
