The gov't shouldn't be allowed to force everyone to buy a product.

I can't really think of any other examples though. Our freedoms have been eroding for a century though, it's nothing new. It's just been going so slow most people don't notice it.

How about the right to pursue life, liberty and happiness? Yet, when he takes tax payer money to bail out his friends in the banking industry and to pay for fake global warming conferences and promote bills that American's don't pay for...and when he and his family take 8 vacations in one year and even charter a private jet for his dog...that's taking away my ABILITY to pursue life, liberty and happiness.

What I mean by that is...every time that jet leaves the ground it costs tax payers 200,000 grand...even when it was just the first dog!

Mods, I know this isn't conventional but please pin? I mean really, this is a topic that we've all talked about. Lets get down to the bare bones here please.

For me it doesn't look like a product, it looks like a service. If you deny such services, what about the court? Or police? You are forced to "buy" it too, if you want or need it is out of question. Should that be stopped to?

How about the freedom to live in a country free of illegal immigrants? Obama won't protect our borders or do away with the idea of amnesty, which is costing us billions every year in tax payer money.

We can still burn Bibles and flags.

Obama can't take any freedoms away although he wants to. If he wasn't such a lame brain powerless leader, we'd be in big trouble.

Like the saying goes, if you're going to have a communist Muslim president, be glad he's an incompetent moran.

You're talking about laws being enforced. That's far different than mandatory medical coverage. AND...the cops and the courts will now arrest you or fine you, if you don't take the forced health care.

The American people haven't had any freedoms taken from them because they've voluntarily given them up. The American people are slaves and seem to love it.

He has purposely taken away peoples rights to seek justices in our courts.

The freedom to call foul ball on the gulf oil spill.

Freedom of choice in your own medical matters...just wait until the full law he signed goes into effect.

Freedom from excessive taxation that will arise from the government take-over of our health care system.

Freedom from those who want to regulate every aspect of our lives because of what is in the health care bill.

Freedom from excessive price increases if he and his Obama-crats pass the Cap & Trade Energy bill that will double or triple all our costs.

Freedom of Speech if they pass the Fairness Doctrine which simply means fairness for progressives and silence for everyone else as well as government control of the internet.

The right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness without having to get government permission to do anything which appears to be their ultimate goal.

Of course, the restrictions on what we can and cannot do or have apply only to USA citizens. Illegal immigrants can get and do whatever they want to since our laws obviously do not apply to them.

He also took away the freedom of using the US Postal Service from Native American Tribes who made their living off shipping cigarettes directly to people's homes.

I've been hearing about this for a while, since before Obama. If this was tried here, almost every gun owner in the country would be fighting it within days, and a good portion of them would be willing to use force.

Hell, we're going to be screwed either way we go so why not vote for him next presidential election. All other presidents screwed us too. Before it is over ALL our freedom will be taken. We don't really have any now.

I had to use everything on that line. We really don't have much of any freedom anymore, just enough to give the sheeple the illusion of freedom.

The health care bill is full of deadly, oppressive and control crap. He bought votes illegally to get the bill passed against the clear will of the American people; lying to the people saying it would cost less than private insurance. Recently he admitted he lied.

The social engineering bill for agenda 21 is going through the senate - bammy is pushing it. It would make it too expenisive to live outside cities.

He ordered his FCC to take control, with a series of controlling measures, over the internet. He was stopped by a court.

He put Kagan on the Supreme Court. She is a radical who is against the constitution. She believes international law overrides domestic law.

He classifed Iraq vets, constitutional advocates, pro life people, third party voters and others as "domestic terrorists."

He has been race baiting his political opposition.

He has added more national debt than all the presidents before him which enslaves generations to pay for his time in office through heavy taxation and limited services.

He threatened health insurance companies and other's he has targeted that if they say anything he will get even.

He has passed a national service requirement (draft) for people 42 and under. He described this group as a domestic army to be jsut as well trained and equipped as the US military.

And so much, much more.

This and it is legal and he is doing this right now to more then 80 countries not just ours.
