I have no problem with gays in the military or gay marriage, but your point is retarded. I don't think even the most homophobic of Republicans are suggesting that soldiers that appear gay in photos are bad for the military. I'm not sure what retarded excuses they make to keep them out, but it's probably slightly better than "I can spot one in a picture".

Honestly OP I think it is time all militarys end worldwide. Drop the guns and work together so we can have a better world as soon as possible.

I wish that none of you have employments in the military or contracted militarys.

I think being gay should be more like a hobby, something you do in your free time. There is no reason whatsoever to be openly gay in the workplace. You've got a job to do, try to act like a professional and keep your focus on the task at hands like everyone else.

You can fag out all you want on your free time. Just don't expect anyone to care.

True, and I could show you a picture of a football stadium full of people and ask you to pick out the serial killer. When we are in a homogeneous setting (everyone in a uniform of one sort or another) people tend to blend in. It's when you're in a private setting and you can express your individualism that certain aspects of our lives become apparent.

I'm not arguing for or against "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", I'm a civilian, but I will say that it's up to you to avoid situations that may make you uncomfortable. If someone wants to live an openly homosexual lifestyle, more power to them, but maybe the military isn't the right choice of vocation.
