That night in July, 2010, a friend and i were camping off the Mississippi in eastern Iowa. He was looking at the stars and asked "what the hell is that?". I looked up and saw the same thing. Im not saying it was an alien, but I couldnt ID it, so yes, a UFO. It was as bright as a star, and about the same size. The object moved faster than any supersonic craft I have witnessed, and was able to change directions quicker than anything I've seen(seemingly without slowing down). The flight pattern seemed close to that of a fly to close to a light, very random movements but went across the entire sky, east to west, in about 15 min. Every so often the object would pause in line with a star, the light would fade, then come back in a different location and continue its strange movement across the sky. I have never seen anything like it before or after that night.
