I listen to him often, but have not purchased the book.
Listener reviews are great. Sounds like it could be GLP
type thinking.

I bought it, briefly went through the book and this could be his best book ever. You will buy the book once you see the list of chapters that he has lined up.

It was like getting punched with left/right combinations...brilliant.

"With an eye made quiet by the power of harmony and the deep power of joy, we see into the life of things." William Wordsworth

And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe—the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God.

John F. Kennedy Inaugural Address

Lincoln's economic advisor Henry C. Carey explained the universal issue in his 1851 Harmony of Interests:

"Two systems are before the world.... One looks to pauperism, ignorance, depopulation, and barbarism; the other to increasing wealth, comfort, intelligence, combination of action, and civilization. One looks towards universal war; the other towards universal peace. One is the English system; the other ... the American system, for ... elevating while equalizing the condition of man throughout the world."

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." - Albert Einstein

I don't waste my time or energy with hate. I laugh at the likes of Savage, no real contributions to the world, he and his followers are the haters.

He's just another snake oil salesman, making money off people with his hateful rhetoric.

Picked up the book last week. Being through a few chapters now, I must say that this book is pretty damn good. Not only are all of the important/main points referenced, the writing style and choice of words are great too. I think people who have questions about Obama, his administration, or the general decay of our government (repub/democrat alike) could get a lot of good info from this book. Well worth the read...

I honestly think Savage has changed his style recently.
Much more calm and thoughtful - less bombastic and hateful.
He actually lets caller speak a few sentences now.
I am hoping for good factual information from his book.

"Trickle-Up" Poverty: The New
Economics of Barack Obama

The liberal media talking heads are already proclaiming that a Barack Obama victory will be revolutionary. Revolutionary is right. The last great revolution took place in Russia. Within a year of the Russian Revolution in 1917, the communist leader Lenin brought the Russians change they could believe in. He created an economic system in which:

All industry was nationalized and strict centralized management was introduced.

Obligatory labor duty was imposed onto "non-working classes" or people who had money. Food was rationed and centrally distributed.

Military-like control of railroads was introduced.
Private enterprise became illegal.

After Stalin took over the Soviet Union, he:

Imposed a state-run system of socialized medicine
Formed a strict, centralized cultural administration and ideological control system – in other words, reeducation.
There is every reason to believe that some kind of socialist revolution will occur under B.O. Bush has already imposed socialism on the banks, and Obama promises to do more of the same. The Soviets put people with money to work in factories.

Under Obama, the business owners in this country who drive the economy will be put to work by being forced to pay crushing taxes that will fund gold-plated healthcare for illegal aliens and welfare cases. Private enterprise may not actually be made illegal, but so many businesses will die under an Obama administration that the same goal will be accomplished. Instead of trickle-down economics, we’ll have trickle-up poverty.

We already know Obama will impose socialized medicine – that is a given. And reeducation will come in the form of the Fairness Doctrine, which Nancy Pelosi will push through the Congress by stressing the need to foster unity and avoid destabilizing the markets with hurtful and unbalanced commentary. This is what the future holds under B.O.

Re: Michael Savage - Trickle Up Poverty. Anyone reading it?
I have noticed, not only Savage, but other talking heads remind us of Reaganomics where the term "trickle down" economics became popular. Trickle is right! Somehow, from the rich, the lower class supposedly receives benefits from the wealthy. Bah, humbug.

Remember, Bush gave tax cuts to the wealthy, and under his watch, 750,000 workers per month became unemployed. How is it that jobs are created by the wealthy then. And it just keeps getting worse! Of course, they don't want the tax cuts to expire even in the face of people losing all they have. Jobs aren't being created by the wealthy. Period.

No wonder to me that they are terrified of being forced to pay their fair share by having those tax cuts expire. Most of them have never worked a day in their lives, but live off the labor of the rest of us, who bear the tax load.

I am NOT A FAN OF OBAMA's agenda, didn't vote for him. I didn't vote for McCain, either. Both parties have their hands in the till, getting rich off the schemes that are impoverishing this country. Did you know that about 50% of the members of the Senate are worth over $1,000,000? Several others don't fall too short of that amount. Wow! How do you suppose they got that money?

That, my fellow GLPers isn't "trickle up" poverty. It's trickle up wealth for the free loaders at the top. They would only have you think that our economic system needs to curtail "entitlement" programs that would ease the burden of the working stiff. Don't fall for it.

So what if I do realize that those who control TPTB consider us goyim. That doesn't change truth, does it? I haven't read the book (have it requested from the library) and I don't listen to Savage but friends do. Is he goy - probably but that doesn't mean there isn't valuable info in the book, does it?
