Only a fool would take the message of these stones seriously.

Their call for 'An Age of Reason' is nonsense. We are already living in such an age and what we see is that 'Reason' is a faculty of extremely limited use; setting it up as a value is ridiculous since its employment invariably results only in disagreement.

As for the notion of creating "a living new language" this too is absurd. Living languages are the result of historical accretion over long periods of time by a single culture. A "new language" is certainly possible, as George Orwell showed us with the Newspeak of 1984, but such a language could hardly be considered "living" in any real sense; it would be sterile and dead from the start.
