Thread: Eerie image captured in woods

Ok, this thread is no longer pinned, so I wonder that the mods must have figured out the probable hoax. A Baton Rouge news aired it and the video is here: [link to www1.nbc33tv.com]

It's weird 'cause I've seen two different versions of the same video today. On the first version the reporter had a print of the alleged picture of the creature, and asked two local dudes about their opinions. Ain't sure but I think one of them claimed to know the person that had sent it to media. Later, when I was about to download the video, the TV channel just put an edited version, without witnesses testimony.

A dude in the comments session of the website, posted a link to a hi-res image of the creature shown in the news. And guess what?? The dates of the image in this link and the image aired by the news, are different. This guy said that he saw a couple of versions of this picture with different dates and different places where it was supposedly caught.

And the grand finale is a fricking game logo in the left-down corner of the picture, that was NOT shown on TV...

Conclusion: CGI JOB! HOAX. Case closed!

The "game" logo is actually the logo of Wildgame Innovations, a hunting supplies company. It obviously is a crop from the same picture since they only changed the date and forgot to change the time. Good work.

... but now you just re-opened the case. I didn't know this supply company and I assumed that it was a PC game developer. So that the logic deduction would be a CGI job. But now, I'm thinking that it may NOT to be a hoax. Maybe the guy that took the picture, was using night vision devices of this company, and the logo was automatically branded in the file. Maybe the original version was posted in the internet with the correct date, and people hijacked it and faked other dates to give themselves the credit of the pic.

Or maybe yet, the pic is a fricking marketing viral of the own company... Too many doubts, case re-opened.
