I just discovered my local supermarket is owned by Walmart. Tell me why I should boycott it!

i don't know about your local grocery, but wal-mart does have a way of making their suppliers drop prices. by demanding lower supply side prices wal-mart gradually forces the quality of goods to essentially drop to maintain profit margins. cheap goods = cheap prices. suppliers are squeezed until they are no longer profitable, then wal-mart moves on to the next sucker.

so if you wanna support putting your local suppliers out of business, then by all means, support the wal-mart model.

G'day mate. true you did, but you also stated that you would support Chinese products while they were cheaper. Do you have Wal-mart in OZ? You didn't last time I was there, or at least not that I knew of.

we have K-mart, don't know if it's the same thing but most of the stuff you buy there is made in china.

Any more dirt on Wal mart before I hit the sack?

There are ethical reasons (ie. they build on cemeteries or Native Americans or sacred ground of fallen civil war.
you name they build store atop of there even protested they fight to disrespect certain area with bit more history that groups are wanting to preserve).

A big reason for me would be they thin out music by removing curse words or also other words that they disagree with. they have done that for many years and those are brand new CD's they get control freak with.

A bigger reason for me would be their store brand of food. They want to sell more and more foods and those cans and taste aren't right...
poor quality something wrong with their version of food.

tell me.....are those people of Wallmart email photos real? If they are, I so need to go to Wallmart on my next US trip.
