Midwest Snow Quake
I'm in Central Indiana. It's snowing outside and there is a low rumble in the air. It's a constant vibration permeating the silent snow fall that seems very very strange....

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Midwest Snow Quake
Can confirm the snow but not the rumble. I'll check some more and come back to your thread.

Not a snow plow, it's probably some sort of thunder snow.

Re: Midwest Snow Quake
There are several threads in the last day or so on this in various locations.

You hear (feel) if more when it is quiet.

Search Taos hum for more background.

HaHaHa! Thundersnow?

Is anyone else hearing thunder snow?

It does sound like this, maybe, just a little bit, but it's daylight so I don't see any flashes of light.

Re: Midwest Snow Quake
I live in mid west Ohio. I heard a "very loud" BOOM which sounded as if it was on my roof. No one seems to know what that could have been either???????
