Re: Loughner's defense
"Investigators building a case against the alleged gunman in the Tuscon shootings, will rely on precise geospatial information gathered through the use of a total station to painstakingly reconstruct the crime scene.

...

Prosecutors are now building their case against Loughner, and will use the precise surveys of the scene outside the Safeway supermarket in Tuscon to reconstruct the events of the day for the jury that hears the case. The surveys will include the locations of all items relevant to the crime, including spent bullet casings."

Again, one wonders why all the fuss if there are so many "witnesses" and video showing exactly what happened. Perhaps this video evidence isn't as strong as we're led to believe. Why "reconstruct" an incident when you have full motion video from many angles? What is the relevance of where spent bullet casings lay, if he was the shooter and the only shooter? All this noise about all this almost military might being brought to bear on this kid absolutely sickens me. A child could unravel this story.

One word: MKULTRA

Simple but effective.

I wish we could get our country back from these thieves but it would take a massive uprising and the sheeple just want to watch American Idol.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1218292

I think a sleight of hand trick to set him up for the shooting would be much simpler and much more effective. This kid was not a ninja or special forces. There's no way he could make a reliable hitman like this after (supposedly) owning a gun for a few month and a bit of (supposed) target practice at a shooting range. Simply getting him to the scene just before the shooting and taking him down when the doppleganger (Zamudio) started shooting would be effective enough. This idea that you can simply "program" somebody to be a professional killer is absurd. When did this programming take place? The guy lived with his parents his whole life.

"I mean, if you weren't hit initially. (laughing) That's the thing is like he shot so fast that (long pause) I mean you would have to really have some sweet reaction time. There was lots of people who ducked behind pillars and were able to cover loved ones and were able to make moves in reaction, so I believe that someone who was, if there had been a security personell around in a prime position to protect her they would have been able to put him down."

[link to www.youtube.com]

The way he stops and snorts a bit of laughter before proceeding is utterly staggering. The long pause when he thinks about the shooting is also very revealing, in my opinion. He also again implies respect for the shooter (most likely himself) by saying you'd have to have "some sweet reaction time" to take him down during the event. He also talks about the shooting as if he witnessed it, "people who ducked" and so on.

I haven't listened to the interview with Zamudio yet, as I am getting ready for work.

But, here is an area where we definitely agree. I felt from the first time I saw and heard him on his original interview that he was involved in the "shooting" incident as a participant, and not just as he says ran over from Walgreen.

You know how you get an intuitive thing about someone.
Then the more he talked, and others, you understood that
this was staged, and scripted in a far different manner than was repeated in a mantra by the media.

"In what prosecutors are calling a 'procedural motion,' two murder charges were dropped against Arizona shooting suspect Jared Lee Loughner, although authorities intend to refile them in a superseding indictment.

The motion to dismiss the charges was filed Friday.

'It was a procedural motion to keep them off the books in order to bring them back under a superseding indictment,' said Robbie Sherwood, spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office in Phoenix."

Re: Loughner's defense
Prosecutors have described the January 19 indictment in the case as preliminary and suggested they were likely to replace it with one containing additional charges in the future. Lawyers say it may be difficult to bring federal charges for all or even most of the six deaths and dozen or so injuries in the shooting incident because federal law doesn't obviously convert every crime at an event like the one Giffords was hosting last month into a federal offense. The attack on Giffords and other federal employees engaged in work duties do seem to be federal crimes, but the shootings of attendees may not be.

Arizona authorities will be able to pursue all such crimes in state court, but the federal government has exercised its right to go first on the prosecution of an attempted killing of a member of Congress.

You continue to prove just how fucking ignorant of Federal criminal procedural processes that you actually are...

Try looking at the dates of your CNN article, and the article that I posted, and then try and understand that they are the same 'story'...

Just because CNN wrote an ignorant piece about "dropping charges", in no way diminishes the fact that Loughner was never "formally charged" for this crimes...

What was "dropped" were 2 "preliminary charges" that were filed on the "initial complaint" in order to hold Loughner...

Loughner has never been Federally "indicted" for Roll's murder...

And may never be...

The gun used, A Glock is hard to determine which gun fired the bullit.
There was a shoot out with cops in W.Va.
They could not tell which cop killed the suspect because
they all had 40 cal Glocks and were so well machined they are identical.

Was Zamudio carrying a Glock too? I remember reading he had a concealed weapon on him at the time.

And I'm not sure if this is just me, but does Loughner feel like a killer to you? There aren't very many pictures of him pre-accident but the ones I've seen he looks timid, normal and over all like a teenager who loves his video games. EDIT: The post-accident pictures are very exaggerated, almost screaming 'MENTAL ILLNESS AND FABULOUS!" which leads me to question the integrity of the images. I don't buy it.

I don't get the same feeling from Zamudio. He looks like he has been in the military, or some other institution that has hardened his eyes and soul. In my belief it just makes more sense that Zamudio shot those people and pinned it on Loughner.

The concealed weapon he had was not a Glock, I heard him say what kind it was in a video interview but I can't remember, might have been a Walther or a Beretta.

Zamudio probably fired on those people with the Glock then dumped it on the sidewalk with the rest of the evidence before assuming the role of gun-toting hero.
