GLP'ers, what do YOU think we should do to save our world?

well the reality is, the world is going to save itself, in doing so, us humans are in a bunch of trouble.

I write this in sheer desperation. I'm absolutely sick of living in a world where the general rule is every (wo)man for themselves.

I log onto GLP (and various other websites) every day hoping to find an answer or someone with a workable solution and though there seems to be many people all over the world who share this goal, we never seem to get any closer to something real and workable. Even if we did, would we be able to convince the rest of the world of its validity?

Lowering Carbon emissions, what about methane? The Bible, the Koran, Extra-Terrestrials, Physics, Politics... the same topics come up again and again. Do we ever come to any real conclusions? No. We fight, argue and war between ourselves.

I find myself in a position where I feel completely lost. For most of my life I've been convinced of a universal truth, a truth that will set us all free but the more I search the more I edge closer to the horrifying conclusion that we are adrift on a sea of madness for which there is no reason or solution.

I wish I had the faith that some of you show, faith in religion, in God, in the goodness of man... but I don't. And so I come to this post...

Are you implying that the Earth is sentient and is willingly ridding itself of us or there is some devine force protecting mother Earth?

yeah, i believe that the earth itself is a living creature of sorts, and it is very good at adapting, it will make all things right (for the earth)

If everyone got off the internet and took the the streets there would be no stopping the masses. Despite the differences of what people are enraged about there is enough rage and enough people sick of this world that we could change it in one day. The internet has brought us together in that we now know there is a community, globally, that is tired of the bullshit. The problem is, we're all too fucking lazy/scared/etc to get off the internet and actually do something.

We are the majority.. we could do it.. but we won't.

To quote another, very famous person, "My dear, you'll find that, if you take care of the person on your left and the person on your right - you'll have a full time job."

Pretty much covers it all. Get it?

Nothing gets people motivated any more, most people feel utterly helpless in the face of the political constructs that are our collective western governments. When people do get out in decent numbers it's always for something completely fucking ridiculous like petrol prices, never for civil liberty infringements or world oppression perpetrated by the ruling classes.

Most people play at being angry. They aren't really else they'd actually do something.

Nothing gets people motivated any more, most people feel utterly helpless in the face of the political constructs that are our collective western governments. Agree completely with the first paragraph.

Disagree with the second statement. People ARE angry.. but we are all living under a reign of fear. Ever GLPers are talking about bug out bags, building shelters, where to go to be "safe". They think the MSM is bullshit yet they feed into the fear they wish to instill in us. Yes, there is conspiracy, yes TPTB are a bunch of nutjobs.. but what do we have to be afraid of? We are all dying anyway... is it better to die in a bunker? Die with a belly full of canned goods a couple of months after DOOM hits? No.. its fear that is keeping us from doing something instead of waiting for Doom and being a tiny bit more prepared than the mainstream.

I love this website because I want to know what goes on in the world, I want truth, and no matter how many BS flags are raised(and rightfully so) it is easier to weed through the bullshit on here than in MSM. However, we're a bunch of hypocrites.. most of us anyway.. and it is a shame.
