Super Duper Empty Train User ID: 842983 United States 01/26/2011 09:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Shouldn't "Bullet Trains" be renamed to something less violent? Obama keeps trying to foist "Bullet Trains" on to states that don't want or need them. Florida told him to shove it. No one wants one so I think if we are going to talk about something that makes no sense to anyone then we should name it something that won't induce crazy people to violence. Like maybe "Super Boondoggle Money Loser". It's traditional for presidents to take their legislative program on the road the day after the big speech. Last year, Obama went to Tampa with Vice President Biden and announced $8 billion in high-speed rail projects. None of the planned rail routes has turned into an actual bullet train, but Tampa-to-Orlando is ahead of the pack in terms of planning. No word on what Obama -- and Biden? -- will promote in Wisconsin. [ link to content.usatoday.com] |

I've refused to ever 'take a ride' on a violent bullet train.
The 'Washington Bullets' had to change their name because it scared the public. Now they are called the 'Wizards'. Isn't that much better? |
