Taco Bell? Sawdust beef? Good god!
Watching the news, I like how casually they talk about the beef in taco bell being composed of sawdust and other chemicals, and that the meat content is around 33% - what the? What is the other 67%

No body eats that stuff for nourishment. Mainly just to fill the void. It even might taste good..maybe. Much like McD's $1 menu.

Re: Taco Bell? Sawdust beef? Good god!
My oldest son once asked at a McD's if they had a nutritiion sheet that listed the ingrediants in their hamburgers and they said yes (I think it's law that all fast food vendors have this)

Anyway they gave him one and he was surprised, to say the least, that one of their ingrediants in their hamburgers was a 'protein' additive made from MEAL WORM. I guess it has about 1/3 meal worms for bulk and protein.

Nice huh?

In New Mexico we have Lotta Burger which advertises 100%Angus beef burgers. Guess where I get my cheesburger fix?

And no, I have no interest in Lottaburger of any kind.

Add Doritos and Mountain Dew as they offer in their $2 lunch promo and you might as well have eaten dirt, cardboard marinated in MSG and Drano with aspartame. Eat up, America! Pharmas need you to ail.

Disgusting. I remember a few years back an undercover expo about a dumpling vendor in China who was actually making the dumplings from soaked and blended up cardboard, heavily seasoned of course. Guess someone got some ideas from the Chinese!

I'll ask him if he still has that print out from there. But this is what it said.

But if this is untrue, what is the protein additive they put in their meat? Cause it sure as hell ain't 'pure' beef. They do add a protein filler.

Organic isn't really organic anymore and 100% beef is not what we think of as beef. Things are allowed by law to be added and still be called beef.

So......... back at ya.

All burgers in the fast food places are from the same source, they use cow face, anus, leg, for the meat.
