Anonymous Coward User ID: 636900 United States 02/01/2011 08:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | .S. intelligence officials reportedly have warned executives at major Wall Street banks that they may be targeted in a terror plot by Al Qaeda militants based in Yemen. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1211168Large financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, Citibank, JP Morgan Chase, Barclays, and others have been briefed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Joint Terrorism Task Force and New York Police Department about the nature of the threats, WNBC-TV reported late Monday. Intelligence analysts said they were concerned Yemen-based militants may try to send package bombs or biological or chemical agents to bankers in the mail, a threat that has led authorities to urge the companies to increase security in and around their mailrooms. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 935690I could care less. People should care about all of the innocent people that will be harmed. Those peon employees and all of the workers in the surrounding area, the firefighters, and all of the first responders don't deserve anything. The evil bastards will be far away in safety as they are likely the ones behind the whole plan to cover up their deeds. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1225440 United States 02/01/2011 08:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I managed the facilities of a huge multinational financial services company in a major American city [their 4th largest office in N. America], which included over-seeing the mail-room for an office staff of 2000. Companies give very little regard to their mail-rooms. They're often considered the most expendable staff, and are frequently outsourced with little to no regard for security [but outsourcing of course does give them plausable deniability and legal deniability advantages.] Bizarre, because VERY SENSITIVE material, data, etc., comes through mail-rooms and are handled by mail-room personnel. Checks for hundreds of thousands of dollars, securities, customer's private tax returns, and other very private data of both customers and company employees, including top executives, were handled by my mail-room staff, none of whom were even bonded. Whenever a company or other institution says your private info is safe, DON'T BELIEVE THEM. They just tell you what you want to hear and are willing to take the risks and consequences of shit happening. They know a certain percentage of shit is going to happen, and that's what they base their bottom line on. Everything else is PR window dressing. |

I read a thread here on glp about it. Thread: 100 healthy sled dogs killed due to slow business Of course this website has a disclaimer so I never know what is true or not. |

I think we should encourage this way of thinking. Perhaps we should tell them that we'd also feel attacked if billionaire executives cop it in the neck and maybe politicians. Quoting: Yeah 1248427If humanity had any balls we would be slaughtering these rich families and just annulling all debt so that we would all be comfortable. All my money goes on housing. Virtually half of all money earned by WORKERS goes on mortgages. And half of all money spent on a mortgage is interest. I say fuck em. The goverment should print mortgage money at no interest, the people would be a heck of a lot richer without the bankers. get rid of a few hundred families, keep your homes and your wages and annull all goverment debt. Now that would be a clever renaissance, not babbling on about Muslims and prophecy and shit. We know where they live, we know where their children study, where they hang out to drink champagne and where they work.....yet nobody has the courage to just get rid of them once and for all. Really? I have never seen a guidebook to bankers, their families, their watering holes and their vacation spots and their schools...LOL Perhaps you could make a million dollars by publishing such a book--- and we'd all be better off!! Here are some creative titles for the book: The Little Black Book of Bankers Bankers' Browse Book Banker Family Guidebook Top 100 Bankers and Their Kin Burke's Banker Peerage |

Didn't lots of incriminating records get destroyed when those bldgs came down? What better way to get rid of derivatives and credit default swaps info, by just blasting it all to hell and then blaming someone else?? Of course this would put us into ww3. When they suck the very last penny out of this system, the elites themselves will do this to wall st, the elites will be far away from danger, and as usual, only the little peons will be attacked. Surviving peons will then be drafted into the army to fight the 'attackers'...don't worry, you'll have tv to tell you who the attackers are. |
