CME Today.

What I found interesting is that this showed on both A and B, demonstrating nicely that the STereo's are getting close to being 180 degrees, if not already.

They are 179.588 degrees apart.

Why does the movie look so pixelated in the middle of the CME, and like it starts and stops in the middle of the CME?

Suppose a similar one of that size is Earthbound, would it be considered as big and damaging to electricity grids ?

1. It's the low resolution data not the science data.

2. I'm not seeing it start and stop... It's expanding, and so the most dense part at the front end is becoming less dense as the high velocity particles break away from the core of the cme, the less dense it becomes the less bright it is.

Most unlikely, it's dense, but it's already breaking up and it's not particulary that big.

Most likely a Kp7 for direct hit.
