Federal Reserve chair Ben Bernanke is firmly resisting the initiative in Congress to subject the nation's bank to a public audit. And he's reiterating his view that even though the economy will grow more quickly this year than last, we won't soon see a significant drop in unemployment.

He's right! The bedrock principle of modern banking is:

That banks require interest (and principle) on something the government could create for free.

The Greatest ongoing swindle in the history of the world.

I think he means that government should not be allowed to just print money when it wants because of some personal or corrupt needs, money should not be controlled by government.
I think it is pretty small government and republican to have the control of money out of government.
But now something or one must watch the fed. A watchdog. This cannot be from government and not from the market. Maybe a peoples watchdog could audit and check the fed. I don't think that is against any principle.

It's guaranteed they would find some reason why it shouldn't happen. National Security or some such. The sad part is that everyone knows they are the biggest fucking crooks in the history of the world and our corrupt govt is in their back pocket.

They won't do shit.

Auditing is the bedrock necessity of free enterprise and investing. Bernanke is a fucking low life criminal. He is a 100 times worse than Maddoff.

There is no need, reason, or security in a private corporation holding so much power over elected officials. If they won't let them audit, then I say they assume the worst and take steps toward dissolving the entity or taking the powers granted back immediately.

Yeah, but it's like falling off your motorcycle and getting road rash. You know you gotta scrub the asphalt out of your ass for your own good no matter how much it temporarily hurts.

It's like speaking a foreign language.

People, please watch this video:

Hint: banks don't lend money they have on deposit, they create it. When the principle is paid back, it disappears, since it never existed in the first place.

Absolutely true, but it's amazing how well the Wall Street and Red Reserve bloodsuckers keep this fact hidden.

Until 1913, the U.S. government had the sole and exclusive right to coin it's own money, but a clutch of fucking traitors in Congress conspired with 7 of the worlds largest banks and turned that right over to them, creating the Federal Reserve banking system, which is actually a PRIVATELY OWNED INSTITUION.

Every person, Rep or Dem or whatever, that runs for President must confide in these bloodsuckers that he will honor the Fed Reserve system.

Our government has paid out TRILLIONS of interest to these bloodsuckers, on money that it could have coined for itself and paid NO interest on!

Another despicable fact is that every high post in the U.S. Treasury Dept is either held by a Goldman Sachs or other Fed Reserve bank manager. Why are we allowing these Guinea worms to infect our government??? Why are more people not outraged about this???

These bastards have destroyed the economy for the middle class and poor while lavishing themselves with vulgar wealth. We scrap and fight over a health care bill that will cost around 50 billion a year while these leeches got 40 TIMES THAT MUCH JUST FOR THE ASKING (2 TRILLION).

What in hell is wrong with people, why don't they wake the fuck up and hunt these bastards down and string 'em up, they're killing us!

The American People should demand the dismantlement of the Federal Reserve. This unholy union between our government (Congress) and the Federal Reserve has destroyed our country.

This illegal entity must be rooted out, along with the ruling elite responsible for it's creation, control and command. Our leaders are without backbone and corrupt. As an American I can only hope our Constitutional Government grows a spine and takes back control of the US, and prosecutes those individuals & entities responsible.

We are each only bound to this system by our willing participation.

Maybe we should stage a 10 Millon man march on NYC and DC to protest for the removal of Bernake and for the abolishing of the private Federal Reserve System and its Banks.
