Like so many, you have only the public school and the MSM view of what the Catholic Church is and what it means to be a priest or an exorcist. Once a priest becomes an exorcist, the spiritual attacks upon him increase, often frighteningly so. So you have a man who has been on the front lines for many years, has performed his duties well and consistently, and, in a time of weakness, exhaustion, pride, or distraction, he slipped, he fell. It is a sign of ignorance to confuse "a fall' with a consistent and premeditated pattern of abuse. I have to wonder how many of you men out there, confronted for hours at a time with a sweating, screaming, writhing, pulsating woman who is tearing at her clothes and yours, and growling "Do me. Fuck me, now", would never, ever, ever, in a moment of weakness, commit an "indiscretion"? Throw all the stones you want. Just get your facts straight first. |
