Rice, beans, Salt, Sugar, Flour.
All can be bought in bulk. Rice is a good filler. Beans are good protein. Salt and Flour you can make biscuits. Sugar is pretty obvious.

Get buckets from doughnut shops. They are food grade, come with lids and are cheap.

Lots of honey and you can make mead. Invest in learning to keep bees, then you can barter the honey,mead,candles and wax that you get.

Try to buy what you eat. Check the labels for expiration date. Further in the future is better.

Stay away from anything with High Fructose Corn Syrup (poison). Stay away from anything with partially hydrogenated oils (poison). Stay away from things needing refrigeration.

Get a good multivitamin. You need 4000 IU of vitamin D a day -- you might have to buy this vitamin in a dedicated tablet because few makers provide sufficient vitamin D in their multivitamin formulation.

Vitamin D is created by your system... it's called be outside for more than 15 minutes a day and expose more than just your arms to the sun.

Pretty much all fish has measurable levels of mercury. Avoid at all costs.

sardines in oil (2 sardines per person per day)
corned beef (200g per week per person)
rice (100g per person per day)
beans -- optional protein
canned fruit -- vitamines -- you'll need supplements though
milk powder (if you have kids)
any protein powders (usually expensive though)

a water filter (for rain water)
lots of natural gas and camp fire.

ocean caught pink salmon. cans. lots of them.

No zombies, No aliens, no mutants... so it only leaves the naturals events, all of which can be survived without a shirt... at least for 15 minutes a day.

The chemtrails have the radiation beat. wink wink. just kidding.


I just bought a good many cans of roast beef with gravy. I love the taste. You find it near the tuna, salmon in the grocery stores. It is expensive though.

It is strange, though, I had to go to several stores as if people are grabbing it up. I finally found it yesterday. If I had the money, I would have bought all they had out.
