That movie was pretty neat. I don't wanna know how many megatons of force a comet this size would unleash...

The fun part is that sooner or later we will get hit again by one of these.

i just watched the movie, impact [released jan 1, 2008] on amazon...

i couldn't believe it...

the moon was impacted by a piece of a BROWN DWARF STAR that entered our solar system...

the world govt's joined together to send nukes... it failed... we then sent 4 astronauts on a one way mission to ultimately split the moon in half.

although the gov'ts thought chaos would ensue, the world actually went calm... crime came to a halt, and everyone on earth was harmonious...

they ended the movie with the media warning people that millions would die still from global cooling and meteor impacts, but that human kind would ultimately survive...

i could not believe what i was watching.

after a week of little to nothing,it will look gourmet....
