I've got a theory about "Wynona's Big Brown Beaver," along with the whole "Tales from the Punchbowl" album.

I believe the song to be about 13th steppin'. It's a rehab album.

Pure genius shines when one foot steps back into the first half of life and the other is attempting to step into new frontier.

No, Primus doesn't suck, they're just not great. Les Claypool has a decent slap-funk tone and technique, but he's not a bass virtuoso by any stretch. Geddy Lee, for example, is a far better melodic player than Claypool, I mean, they're not even in the same league. I don't know who the guitarist is, but I always thought he was somewhat adventurous, only not in possession of any real voice. I mean, he's not playing anything very original. Making alot of wild squeals and string slides that serve no other purpose than to be comical, this is not originality. The drummer is just a typical sort of drummer, okay timing but no real style, bangs away like a monkey sitting next to a metronome.

These guys are a jam band, nothing more, flailing away drunkenly and having fun. They're comical like Zappa, only nowhere even near the level of songwriting and musicianship. They're sort of like the Grateful Dead was, having a drunken good time, only not as serious about jamming as were the Dead.

I rate them a five out of ten as a band. Suitable for performing at local bars. I'd go see them at a local bar, if the cover was no more than $5 and they were featuring $2 imported drafts and free wings.

bonnaroo's lineup didn't do much for me this year, its mainly just to big and diverse for my liking. All Good has 2 stages so you can see every act. To each their own I suppose.

and i'm not into the rfid conspiracies, but the bonnaroos wristbands this year have rfid chips in them. This may or may not be a problem for the drug dealers who like to wear the wristbands after the festival ends...
