During Sleep Paralysis...Do you see Demons?

I saw them shapes in a drunk tank in Detroit

The few times it's happened to me I remember wanting to scream for help, but not being able to. I always feel a presence in the room, and I always want to close my eyes but again am unable to.

I've only had one sleep paralysis episode, and when it happened everything seemed to be in a glowing blue light, and there was some kind of creature hiding in the corner of my room.

From my personal experience, before I truly came to Faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ, it is an attempt by Satan at possession.

If you have not believed in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, you should be very afraid.

For only the Name of Jesus Christ will make them flee and stop them from every returning again.

For I believed and the Lord saved me and filled me with His spirit and I know that Satan will never be able to do this again.

If you have not placed your Faith and Trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of your life, then please pray to God and ask that He reveal His Son to you so that you may believe and ask forgiveness of your sins and be saved.

For there is no other Name but Jesus Christ that has authority over ALL.

I dont see Demons, I see other things, I wont say. But the closest to Demons I have heard grawls in the dark corners of my room or I hear the door opening and I cant move and know someting just came in my room.

I have a fear of hypnic myoclonia, so I fight sleep.

I see shadows. I do not know what they are. Just shadows.

I heard all kinds of background noise of people talking..and then I felt this really hard pressure on my chest.
It was weird and freaked me out because I never knew that could happen to the body.
I thought I was paralyzed

i know how to induce sleep paralysis, but wouldn't recommend it

yes, during this stage i often imagine knives being stabbed into my eyes and death scenes...

How?

Demons beg Jesus Christ.

Because Jesus Christ is their judge and judge over all.

I was lucky, only time I've had it I had my eyes closed, but something was clearly over me because the little light one usually still sees when one's eyes are closed suddenly went total dark like someone was right over my face.

I struggled and struggled and suddenly I felt faint and then I wasn't paralyzed anymore. I felt like a succubus raped me off my energy or something.

Now I don't ever sleep looking upwards, but the times I might forget about it I still feel like it's gonna happen again and just move before I get paralyzed.

Its interesting, these replies. The common thing I have heard is dark shapes, a heavy presence, and things in the CORNERS of rooms.

These things are common to everyone that I talk to that has experienced the dark things. Not everyone has seen or felt such things though. Some feel nothing.

Only once, it was a face and it was badly decomped, had no eyes just black holes and a rotten teeth smile

Holy crap,...when I was about 12 years old I had a sleep paralysis event occur.

I remember I feel asleep on the floor next to my bed and could hear the washing machine running,...then I started hearing, this rhythmic pulsing sound, almost throbbing noise in my ears. the sound started getting louder and louder until I found myself looking into a black void. A few seconds later a pair of burning red eyes materialized in my field of view, (I was terrified and full of dread),...but my eyes were closed. I remember praying "please God help me", and they red eyes were sort of shoved to the right of my field of view. I then saw a warm, hazy, cloud-like fog in front of me and I felt better,....then I remember waking myself up but my eyes were struggling to open and the throbbing noise was still there only it was getting weaker.

Now sometimes I can almost induce that same state of mind with the throbbing sound but have never been able to see the "red eyes" again,...for some reason I feel stronger and could "fight" the red eyes.

Man this sounds weird as all get out but I hope it makes sense.

Sleep paralysis, yeah that's where the WHATEVER THEY ARE live.

They have ferocious rows of teeth.
They have steel spikes they insert into your gums.
They are brutal and slip through the walls, nothing stops them.

well i used to induce them on myself by taking certain prescription meds way over the recommended dosage but still no where near lethal. then just get really relaxed but keep your mind awake and it will take over
crazy shit.

basically i found this out one night experimenting with the drugs.

That's interesting man, I once heard a podcast by some dude who talked about that noise you mentioned. He said that if you increase the vibration to a very high point you suddenly jump off your body and have an out of body experience.

I read somewhere else that these dark creatures are just helpers for people who wish to have their soul consciously jump out of their bodies and move around.

It's funny too how faced with such an experience most people with beg God for help, even atheists. The day the world ends there won't be atheists at all, believe me.

I have had it happen hundreds of times. You are on the verge of leaving your body. The things you encounter are the astral manifestations of your fears. I have had more attacks in my sleep then I care to remember in my years..I was a astrologer for 30 years until 2 years ago when things started manifesting in my home and I video taped it. Because of my new age philosophy I thought WOW this is great, it must have some wonderful message for me until my home turned into a exorcist movie. Took me months to figure out what was happening to me and months to get rid of it.

I am not what you would consider a regular Christian ( could consider me a Gnostic Christian in some aspects), but I must say when I had that horrible experience I asked Jesus to help me and whatever it was did go away, but I was very exhausted by that moment.

I went thru a period wherein I suffered those almost nightly for a period of a month or two. It was terrifying for me so much so that I made my boyfriend at the time come stay with me and I lived in another town than he.

I didn't see anything at all but I was wide awake and completely paralyzed and tried with all my might to scream but of course wasn't able to make a sound. the moments seemed interminable when I was in that state, and when I was able to escape it I didn't want to even try to go back to sleep. I knew whatever it was it would happen to me again if/when I did, or so I imagined.

Everytime it happened I was wide awake when it stopped, so I'm not sure I was ever asleep at all because I never experienced it and then continued to sleep, ever.

It got to be a rough row for awhile there but then it stopped and I haven't ever experienced it since.

I didn't see anything but for some reason I knew or had the sensation that something was holding me in this state of complete paralyzation. Dread fear, naturally.

It wasn't long after these episodes however that I actually started having out of body experiences while my physical body was asleep. I have since been told that when we are just beginning to learn to project our consciousness out of our bodies while sleeping that one of the things we go thru is this effect of being paralyzed, seemingly because we are just out of our body enough not to be able to make it function but not having actually lifted out of it enough to be able to look back upon it on the bed and see it from elsewhere, hence still in it but not connected so to speak. When you have an out of body experience you can see your "light body" as you move around in it and you can also see your physical form on the bed when you stop whatever you are doing and return to it.

I never did know what caused it, that's just some of what I had been told regarding my experiences with it.
