I spent 40 years in that system that tells you what to believe. I became a slave to doctrine and manmade institutions, only to find out that none of it made sense when you really come outside the box, all you have are more questions.

Why is it so impossible to believe that we are not really who we think we are? At the core of every person is this nagging desire to find out who we are, what's it all about, why are we here. If it's only to be saved and go to another place that still doesn't satisfy that big hole inside.

In my opinion the ancient Astrounaut theory answers many questions about the Bible, and I have studied it intently for many years.

The God of the Old Testament is certainly not a God I would love. In fact the God of the Bible asks us to love our enemies yet he is set to send most of humanity to an inferno for eternity....come on...something is wrong with this picture.

Evolving means grow up, and using the other 84% of your brain, wherever it came from. That is a blessed thing, to have those out there who can at least present the evidence, I believe the "real" God hates religion, that is the truth. I think you missed the point I was trying to make. God is not a personality, per se Jesus. God is everything manifested. We are just a form, as is everything in this reality.

if you want to talk bible talk, I can talk you under the table, but that is not the context of this discussion.

God is the author of all things, if we try to make God in our image then our understanding will be limited to what we preceive God to be.

I can't believe you are afraid to ask the questions...I believe you are afraid the answers won't be what you want them to be. That is what religion does, it keeps you controlled by that sacred boundry that you dare not cross or that mean ole angry God will send you to Hell.

The truth is depending on which doctrine you are under only some will make it to heaven anyway, and that was predetermined not by what you do or believe but by that very God. It's such a mess, I know where you are coming from, believe me.

I think you just want to be right, people like you make me remember why I left religion behind. In fact I've seen more arguments and almost out right fist fights over the Bible and what it says than anything.

If you don't like what Legendary Times says, don't read it...that will solve your problem. But you can't dictate what other people believe or read or are open to....people who are really free don't feel the need to impose their beliefs on other people...they realize that we are all where we are supposed to be, it is a process of evolving.
