LOOK!!! If reactor did not blow up, why was there an explosion and what caused it????

If true, this is a double confirmation – first that the core did in fact "melt down" and second, that the reactor containment has been seriously breeched.

The generation of free hydrogen means that a plasma of H20 was created thermally from water in the core. For that to happen water needs to be heated to about 12,000°C. That's FAR HIGHER than the operating temperature of the reactor, and in fact far higher than the melting points of the uranium rods and their sheaths. Thus, if true, the core did in fact melt.

Then, presuming a plasma containing H+ was formed and hydrogen gas was produced as a result, how did the hydrogen gas get into the building that blew up? It had to get from the core which is inside the containment vessel into the outer building in very significant quantities. Thus, the reactor containment has been breeched.

I find the story that a door was jammed shut because the building moved in the quake, they had to use light explosives to unlock/damm the door and we witnessed the dust and smoke of the door being busted down.

When have you EVER seen a nuke reactor building BLOW UP and not release MAJOR radiation ???
