The article is full of inaccuracies and base it's interpretation on the Rider Waite deck which is influenced by western esotericism and masonic symbols.

The Tarot is not masonic. The Tarot is not related to Templars. Masons are not related to Templars.

The Rider Waite deck is used in English speaking countries and dates from 1909.

The Marseille is already found during the XVth century, and include NO masonic nor templar symbols.

If templars wanted to hide their wisdom in a tarot deck, do you think they would choose a deck created in the XXth century, lol?

But the origin of the tarot has nothing to do with masons nor templars.

The origin of the tarot are images depicting small stories containing wisdom and moral teachings to everyone and not just a selected few. It was like an illustrated book, but with many wisdom summarized.
