I had this problem a few years back. Get a q-tip and dig a bit deeper than usual without puncturing your ear drum. I found I had one of my hairs stuck in there. It felt awful.

Above all: Do Not Panic. you need to lean your head to one side while warm liquid (water or oil) is poured in, hold the position and watever is moving around will float to the surface.
