Does anyone else's legs get weird burning feeling from laptop?

Hey I get a burning sensation in my wrists and tingling in my fingers from my laptop. It radiates up my arms. My wrists feel like they are burning but no heat at all in my laptop- it is cool.

It has to be the electromagnetic current. Would like it to stop. Any suggestions?????

if you stick the blanket there, the fan won't get to expel air to cool it, so it could work overtime and produce more heat.

do you hear the processor working overtime? maybe shut some processes down, it might just be working too hard. I have a mac too and it does that to me.

I have same problem. Soon as I turn on the laptop, I get a burning feeling at the top of my legs. Mine is a gateway. 6G

Try it sitting down in the shower, the water should carry away any excessive heat so you won't scratch and break the skin and get some sort of rash. Safety first.

Or, ..... a thin board that can be between you and the device, like those plastic cutting boards.

Yes I have a 2005 HP laptop and right under the fan is where it gets my left leg.
I have 1cm rubber buttons under the laptop, I have it on a wood tray, I have the wood tray on a s/s tray, I have this s/s tray on 4cm of polystyrene foam and the next step is a piece of roofing lead.

Yes I too get burning sensations and mostly on my left thigh. I've tried gluing pennies on a 5/8" particle board wrapped in aluminum foil. Still burns. Next! going to dump to get door off of microwave to see if I can deflect the waves.

Are you using its built in wifi?, if so you are gently microwaving your legs, belly and genitals.

I get the same thing with out using a laptop. It's called poor circulation of blood flowing through to your legs and feet. Stand up, walk around or do like I do and ride my excercise bike for 30 min. to help the blood flow.Then it goes away. Consider the lenght of time you are sitting.

OP, you're a moron. First off, most compact computers run hot. That the processors generate heat is something humans come out of the vagina knowing.

Secondly, you're running insulating the laptop with a blanket. This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It'll break your laptop if not warm your thighs. A blanket will cause the laptop to become even hotter at its chassis and so will have heat thoroughly roasting your laptop and you as well.

Yes it is from heat....its acually bacterial growth because of the heat the laptop produces.....heat + moisture equals bacteria growth...some people itch more than others because of allergies ...hope this helps
