Get an alternative source of heat and learn to cook over campfire and or wood stove. Without electricity, there will be no way of buying food or traveling by car as there will be no way of obtaining fuel. It was already predicted that GPS and other communication satelites would need to be taken offline when large flares are detected so to keep the satelites safe. There is also the potential for power staion transformers to be damaged, and it can also maybe explain why certain radiation monitors around the world are taken down as they will pickup higher radiation levels (gamma rad from solar flare) unless they are calibrated to only detect alpha/beta radiation. One can too easily fall into the pot of fear and most of the time you come away from here and are not in a better place of "knowing" what is actually going on. Knowing requires knowledge, requires study, requires effort. If you dont wish to do this, then anything anyone says and one or two "confirm" through blind acceptance of the facts or by associating the effects of one anomoly with another can potentially lead you astray and distract you. I dont claim that there isnt an end world scenario or that I have all the facts, but I have been through this before (reading fear based information from non credible sources) and I've learned that I wasted much of my time by not putting the effort to actually go and find out how things work and whats happening and why. There is a "solar catastrophe" scenario the government is aware in Russia, there is some exchange of information with Europe and the United States. Information to the public is being blocked, news is being kept secret, no announcements or early warnings will be given when solar effects are expected to hit. One source told me already the solar imaging available to the public is delayed or censored, so the public will have no real knowledge of what is happening, no time to act. 5. The possibility of a "climax"- in intensity and frequency of solar discharges of energy reaching a maximum in late 2011 through until 2013 "CAUSING THE END OF MODERN CIVILISATIONS" IS REAL. This has been spoken at high levels among scientific and government authorities (Roscosmos, ESA and within the United States own establishments according to my sources). I was warned that something would happen due to solar activity before the earthquake in N. Japan on March 11th. Even, it was suggested to me I might not be able to fly back home to Russia because the "event" could be of such implications. There were lots of rumours before this, that the Russian government knew something was coming several days before it happened.
