Sorry it took me so long to get back with you I had to get some sleep. Then I went to church and had a busy day working on my 3 vehicles oil changes and break work on my van. I finally got a chance to look up some stuff for this discussion. First of all my perspective is biblical of course. Anyone who knows me already knows that’s what I am bringing to the table. Before I get into all that let me say I had a chance to talk to the Police Officer who responded to the call in Hastings the other night. He went out to investigate a reported UFO sighting. He told me that he seen nothing he interviewed others who were in the area outside during the supposed sighting and they did not see anything either.
Personally we all have to take into consideration who is saying what. The officer said “sightings” are fairly common. When people party and drink alcohol or do other substances apparently this tends to bring out the “aliens”. So what happened is someone heard the call for this “sighting” come over the scanner. Then the rumors started. Its amazing what you can find out if you just get the facts.
Ok so like I said last night I believe in the Extraterrestrial which means a living being that exists or comes from somewhere outside Earth and its atmosphere. Like I said they are called angels and demons. What I wanted to share with everyone is the fact that if you are a Christian than you cannot believe in the little green men who fly saucers. Here’s why. For starters the bible gives evidence that can explain why there are things that people see that are unexplained. For example: when I was a kid I was in Nashville. I seen a large bright light. It was low like tree top level, right above me. It bent the pine trees over and it made a loud humming sound. Then it zoomed away. What the heck did I see? I was not alone that night there were at least 4 other people there including my brothers. For the longest time I believed in aliens UFO’s and all that. Then I came to know Christ and I could not deny what I seen but I knew that it did not fit with scripture. Then I came across this passage. Ezekiel 1:4-28 and it all made sense to me. This passage in the Bible explains what a certain kind of angel looks like. They are called Seraphim’s. Look it up and read the description it will make a lot of sense. If you don’t look this up then forget everything else I am going to say. I believe that I along with the others saw an angel that night. It was so bright I could not make out any images other than a brilliant light.
A few other passages in the bible lend to this whole alien discussion. First- 2kings 2:11. This is the story where Elijah gets taken up in a chariot of fire. This is often referred to as a spaceship or flying saucer by those who in my opinion are ignorant of scripture. It is as it states an angel or some other angelic being came down on a chariot and took him away. The reference to fire again is the brilliant light it could be literal fire but either way you get the point. Hebrews 1:7 is another passage in the Bible that adds something worth noting in this discussion it says “In speaking of the angels” “he says: He (God) makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire.” Notice the reference to wind and fire…….interesting. Sounds a lot like what I experienced. If we are thinking of lights in the sky or fast flying objects in the sky then angels could easily be mistaken for UFO’s or such a things as that. However I do not think that many of the supposed sightings around the world are angels. Some are possible, which is the point I am trying to make. I think that most of the sightings are like the one in Hastings: hoax, fakes, hallucinations, stories or plain out lies. The sightings that are real in my opinion are most likely demons.
Why would I say that? Another passage of scripture is why I believe that. I cannot deny what I saw or that fact that some people do see things that cannot be explained but I believe this passage explains it. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15. This passage states that Satan himself Masquerades as an angel of light and his demons also masquerade as servants or righteousness. In my mind I simply put it this way: Satan’s whole goal is to turn people away from God. He doesn’t care how he has to do it as long as it is done. He always focuses on our weaknesses and if that is a belief in aliens then he will run with it. He will send his demons to masquerade as lights aliens whatever. The definition of masquerade is to disguise. To me it makes sense its just another trick satan has up his sleeve to draw people away from God. He does whatever it takes. Aliens are not real but sightings that make people crazy about aliens and then think less of the one true living God maybe real. You may have seen a demon masquerading as an alien spaceship and you took the bait.
The reason why a belief in aliens draws a person away from God is this. It totally does not match up with scripture at all. Believing that there are other beings out in the universe would mean God created them. The question would be why did God create these other beings? There is absolutely no purpose for them at all. Then on top of that why would a Loving God create beings who would never have a chance to know his son Jesus thus being damned to Hell from the start? God would not create a whole race of life elsewhere just send them to Hell that does not match up with God’s characteristics. God has one son scripture repeatedly says one, one son. There is not an alien Jesus for them. They aliens do not exist because God did not create them. It is hard to understand at first why the outer space is so huge. But if you think about God and his creating power it makes sense. God has no limitations his creation is without limit. He created the universe to exercise his limitless creation ability. If you want to know what else God does in nature read Job chapters 38 and 39. God would not make aliens satan did to trick people and then people continue to run with these lies and build on them making false videos and movies and write books on this which is all non sense. If something does not match up with scripture than you should think twice about believing it, if you call yourself a Christian. The Extraterrestrial beings are real they are called angels and demons that matches scripture and explains everything else. Think about it.
