It's not a flip-flop.

Practically everyone was hopeful Obama would do well. Trump mediated his comments by saying if Obama wasn't a great president, it would be a disaster for this country. So there you go, that's awfully consistent.

Trump's said all along he HOPES Obama does well, HOPES he has a birth certificate, but that's not squaring with reality.

I just think the headline is very misleading, because it suggests Trump COMPLETELY changed his tune from "yesterday" to now, just for political reasons.
