And reading about that flooding in Florida made me remember a report on CNN a couple of days ago. A rouge wave off the coast of California took out some kayaks. One person was drowned.

Correct me if I'm wrong (never been good a conversions of km to mph) but wouldn't that be about 85 mph? If so, that's a strong Cat 1 hurricane force wind.
