My son's best friend (they are 20 years old) still gets an Easter basket from his folks. Heck, I didn't even buy a bag of candy for mine. I'm such a baaaaaaad mom. LOL!

To strip people's beliefs with science is easy pickins, but I think there's some truth in it, or it wouldn't have endured as long as it has. While many people feel that the world isn't a good place, it's not very popular to say that there's no solution to it within itself. Everybody tries to find an enemy outside of himself so he defeat it to make the world better. It doesn't work. The world itself, and that which is in all of us, is the source of the pain. The symbol for Christianity is an instrument of torture. The denial of our will-to-live, our desires and urges is the path to salvation. Even our desire for eternal life in Heaven or fear of Hell feeds the monster.
