I doubt Obama would ever be invited back onto Brazilian soil. His visit may have been enough to encourage Brazil to conclude this deal with Iran. . DON'T VAX, PROPHYLAX! ____________ There is no anger in Me: If one offers Me thorns and thistles, I will march to battle against him, And set all of them on fire. But if he holds fast to My refuge, He makes Me his friend; He makes Me his friend. (Isaiah 27:4-5) |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1356212what the fuck business is to anyone else? do countries need permision? Waiting for the rednecks to reply to this one OK, this redneck will try to draw you a picture. Obama gave Brazil $2 Billion with a "B" of the stimulus money for oil exploration while preventing it in this country. His buddy Soros is heavily invested in the company doing the exploration. That's $2 billion of us rednecks' tax money. So yes, I do think it is some of our business, about $2 billion worth. One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one. Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway. Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?. . .J. Handy |

This is not a huge surprise, since the Brazilian oil giant, Petrobas, which counts Obama friend George Soros among its major shareholders, has doggedly refused to close its offices in Tehran, despite Iran’s support for terrorism and its nuclear enrichment program. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 919411... Wow, what a COINCIDENCE ! Wow, what a load of GARBAGE ! Dilma fought against the Brazilian DICTATORSHIP. Did you Americans quit loving freedom fighters? Dilma Rousseff loves the Dictator of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (‘Iran to open trade center in Brazil’) and the feeling is mutual. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 919411NO! The only entity she is authorized to love is her own country Brasil and she acts according to Brasil's business interests. Not Iran's, not the U.S., not even Portugal. Except for Europe, EVERYBODY in this planet is moving on independently and decoupling their economy and foreign relations from the U.S. |

Louisiana GOP Sen. David Vitter called out Salazar and Bromwich for publicly low-balling drilling application figures. While the pair informed Congress that the administration has received fewer than 50 shallow water permits and that only six to seven deepwater permits are pending, the Obama Justice Department asserted in legal filings that "there are 270 shallow water permit applications pending, and 52 deepwater permit applications pending." Which is it? Quoting: Jim Adams, president and CEO of the Offshore Marine Service Association (OMSA), further skewered Salazar's book-cooking on the permit-orium: "There were 32 deepwater drilling operations already permitted when the president imposed his moratorium last year. Interior Secretary Salazar is merely allowing existing permit holders to resume their operations." OMSA reports that there are more than 100 deepwater development plans that have yet to be cleared to even become eligible for a permit. Salazar is "treating Gulf workers like peasants, tossing us work crumb by crumb and expecting us to be grateful," Adams said. "We're tired of fighting for scraps. We want to get back to work -- all of us, not just a handful of crews." [link to www.realclearpolitics.com] |
