A year ago this ribbon of energy was at the very edge of the solar system, where the bubble of charged particles streaming from the sun finally peters out. Now we are a year late and I can not imagine how closed it can actually be to Earth.

I wish SickScent would give us an update on the location of "the fluff" ! A year ago it was on the edge of the solar system...where is it now ?

Do you have any new info SS ?

we are IN the Fluff, its called the wave and you ones here ought to be watching because it is visible on some solar sites and nobody is saying anything about it here on GLP. I am not giving hints you ones can go look yourselves, I am tired of teaching over and over.

Hmm these two comments got me thinking...

I've been looking at a couple of 'Cosmic Events' over the last year that may well be what you're hinting at...

First one is, NASA's Fermi Telescope Finds Giant Structure in our Galaxy...



WASHINGTON -- NASA's Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope has unveiled a previously unseen structure centered in the Milky Way. The feature spans 50,000 light-years and may be the remnant of an eruption from a supersized black hole at the center of our galaxy.

"What we see are two gamma-ray-emitting bubbles that extend 25,000 light-years north and south of the galactic center," said Doug Finkbeiner, an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Mass., who first recognized the feature. "We don't fully understand their nature or origin."

The second is 'NASA Reports Earth Close to Unexpected Interstellar Cloud, a "Local Fluff"...



"The Voyager's (spacecraft launched in 1975) are not actually inside the Local Fluff. But they are getting close and can sense what the cloud is like as they approach it... There could be interesting times ahead!" - Merav Opher, Ph.D., NASA Heliophysicist

Voyager 1 entered the surprising heliosheath in Dec. 2004; Voyaer 2 followed almost 3 years later in Aug. 2007. These crossings were key to discovering the unexpected interstellar cloud, or galactic "fluff".

NASA reports "the Fluff is held at bay just beyond the edge of the solar system by the sun's magnetic field, which is inflated by solar wind into a magnetic bubble more than 10 billion kilometers wide. Called the heliosphere, this bubble acts as a shield that hepls protect the inner solar system from galactic cosmic rays and interstellar clouds. The two Voyagers are located in the outermost layer of the heliosphere, or heiosheath, where the solar wind is slowed by the pressure of interstellar gas. The fact that the Fluff is strongly magnetized means that other clouds in the galactic neoghborhood could be, too. Eventually the solar system will run into some of the Fluff, and its strong magnetic fields could compress the heliosphere even more than it is compressed now. Additional compression could allow more cosmic rays to reach the inner solar system, possibly effecting terrestrial climate and the ability of astronauts to travel safetly through space."

Definitely it is the wave. We may have a new sun, a new moon, and a new solar system. We can see no stars, for the stars are all starships which flash and strobe various colors and move about. First full-sky maps of the emissions of energetic neutral atoms were obtained last years by IBEX, showed a surprising arc-like feature called the Ribbon. Earth changes have started and weather up-set is here. This astonishing discovery was announced by NASA as one of the most important findings in space exploration made in 2009. The controllers do not want you to know about the Photon Belt and its "automatic" clean-up of their evil deeds.
