why do we celebrate another's death
Why are we (Americans), celebrating another's death? Have we become those that seek to destroy what we stand for?

Am I the only one that is disgusted by the dancing in the streets? Compassion and morality have made this country what it was, but what have we become?
Seek and you will find.
Listen and you will hear.
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me

Truly shameful. I do not judge you though. That's for a vengeful God to do.

How could man rejoice in victory and delight in the slaughter of men?
Even in victory there is no glory. Those who celebrate victory delight in slaughter.

He changed the way we live and not for the better.

He caused a lot of pain and suffering. Although the celebrating doesn't look good, you can't blame them. They don't know what to do or how to act. Maybe it's more of a relief that the boogie man is finally gone.

We will never know what those people went through watching their loved ones trapped inside a burning building.

‎"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that" -- Martin Luther King, Jr.

I did not celebrate. It makes me feel creepy to see all the people that are.
All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

From freedom to abundance;
From abundance to selfishness;
From selfishness to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to fear;
From fear to dependency;
From dependency to bondage;
From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to courage;
From courage to freedom.
