Kate Middleton dress that she wore at her wedding to Prince William has sparked a lot of questions about the inspiration of the Duchess of Cambridge in her choice.

Isabella Orsini, the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s god daughter, wore at her wedding in 2009 with the Belgian Prince de Ligne Edouard a very similar dress worn by Kate Middleton at her wedding to Prince William, writes the British media.

Although the dress worn by Orsini was created by a Belgian designer Gerald Watelet, it has several similarities with that worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, created by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.

The similarities between the two dresses are the tailoring, lace applied over the shoulders and neckline, long sleeves and trains. Also, both brides wore veils and tiaras with diamonds.
