Accidental Stoner User ID: 1191993 Finland 07/03/2011 03:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Bob Marley & the Wailers, Stockholm 1980, Quoting: Accidental Stoner 1191993the Uprising Tour. Pure magic. Never seen anything quite like it, neither before nor after. The whole city was buzzing with the vibes from early morning already. All of Stockholm smelling of ganja hehhehheh. Outta this world show - so nice to see absolutely all walks of life coming together in harmony. Never ever seen such a diverse crowd at one single show. The man himself was already terminally ill - and he knew it. (We didn't.) But his performance was vibrantly powerful and healthy. It was the 17th of June, and I'll just never forget it :) That must have been special. Lucky you. Can you remember any of the songs? If he performed Natural Mystic there it must have been pure magic They played most of the classics, Natural Mystic included...but as I remember it, "No Woman No Cry" and the encore with Mr Marley all alone onstage with an accoustic guitar doing "Redemption Song" were the absolute climaxes. Somebody later reported, that crowd density at Gröna Lund that night was 6,5 people per square meter. A guy not too far from me puked :D The entire pizza hahhahhahh... Hastily made a clear space for himself |
