So, the greatest practice is to be still (mentally). But it appears that it is very difficult for most of the people. So, same mind invents many practices in order to travel from A to B, because it DOES NOT WANT TO DIE NOW, DIE TO THE NOW, DIE TO GOD RIGHT NOW.
In order to be reborn while still having this body is only through death of what we call ego, or mind, or I.
This can be accomplished only by two means:
1. Tracing mind to its source. Very hard but very straightforward and fast. This is only meant for 0.0001%
2. Total surrender to God. Sounds easy, but 99% can't do it.

Both lead to the same - merging with God or Source.

Indeed..one big family with Christ as the Head....no divisions..

those that create division imo and dont understand that we are all One ..in Love of Christ and Loved by Christ..are probably not part of it

Interesting because my mind must be still and quiet for me to hear what Jesus is saying. He speaks to my spirit but if my mind is whirlling i have difficulty hearing what He is saying. Theresa of Avila called it the Prayer of Nothingness. THAT is how to hear God speaking!!!

Actually, every now and then we do get a testimony of someone who has given their life to Jesus.

I seriously doubt that, however, I guarantee, I've brought more folks out of your religion, then you will ever bring any to it!!

Bringing someone out of religion is a good thing.

Jesus is a relationship..... but you know that!

^^THIS^^ The people who are negative like that have a "God-shaped " hole in their hearts that aches to be filled. I am praying for those who are seeking the Lord and those who are in attack mode; God loves all of us no matter what and nothing will fill that God-shaped place in our hearts except the Lord God Himself.

I've seen plenty of miracles, both for me and some people i've prayed for. Miracles do exist. You should know that. There have been countless healing down through the ages in Jesus Name that are well documented. You simply choose to deny they are happening.
