Things we've invented were not brought into existence from where they were not....yes... or they would not have ever come forth as visible fact..yes?

The other day I told my very intelligent and scientific friend ...I'm tired of all the EMOTIONS of life.

So I've retreating into my woman cave and am ordering up refresher courses on MATH and SCIENCE.

As my friend said, 'Math is NOT a QUESTION. Math is FACT'.

Call it escapism, whatever - right now, we need to get grounded - big time. Not that FAITH has helped people - I'm sure it has and more power to those folks who think SOMEONE ELSE, SOMEWHERE OUT THERE, is going to rescue humanity from the clutches of the planet's evil overloads.

At this point in time, it looks that concept hasn't worked out for them. But there's always Heinsenberg's Uncertainty Principle - so anything IS possible. It IS amazing how thoughts can become reality, so I wouldn't give up on FAITH and BELIEF. They have their place to be sure.

And yes, Alan Watt is good to listen to - again, JUST THE FACTS - and what a relief that is. If you want a first-class university course on how the world really runs, Alan Watt is your man.

Some things can be proven. Some can be disproven. Some can be neither proven nor disproven -- "is there a God" is likely one of these. "Are there seven chakras" is another.

Believing in something that's undecidable is just as scientific as believing in its opposite. Plenty of top scientists and mathematicians (well, a large percentage, as there are not plenty of such people) have spiritual beliefs.

the seven chakras is just a metaphor. when said "you're living in your first chakra", that just means your fucking horny.. you're thinking with your cock..(whatever).. that part of your brain is just more active/dominant.
this is a more 'accurate' way of seeing it, rather than just mindlessly believing in these "energy centers" in your body.

God is a 50/50 for me, like you said.. cannot be proven or disproven..there may be multiple gods, there may not be....however, a lot of shit we put energy in to we will never know.. and a lot of shit is straight-up belief or faith.

the list goes on and on with beliefs, because we've incorporated it in to our lives in such a way it seems normal.. spiritual to some people.
