Its looks like there is another explosion. Activity still rising.

That all is dark ash what sakurajima push up to sky. Cam is below ash cloud.

Sakurajima is errupted 473 times this year. It is scary number when we speak about this size supervolcano

Allmost morning in japan and sakurajima strong erruption continues. it push ash straight up.

Weather is bad because there is so much volcanic ash...

It have been errupted now over three hour. There was really big bump.

Only reason why they dont evacuate kagoshima is that after 1914 they build pyroclastic flow shelters, lava rivers etc aroun sakurajima. They hope that is enough. Ofcourse if whole mountain says bumb or it drops in the magma chamber that is not enough...

What i have read from twitter and magazines peoples in kagoshima are little bit stressed because they live so near supervolcano wich one is capable VEI 7-8 erruption in any time.

I had to say that i understand them really well. In cam 10 example is not that what i want to see when i wach outside from window.
