CRAZY! "Only Sluts Get Raped! (1st Timothy 2:9)"

I believe that may be satire.

I can't prove it, I've heard "good" Christians say some fairly awful things, but the language was a little over the top in that piece for reality.

I hope it was simply a joke at least.

He wrote "This filthy wh*** will get what she deserves". Wow... how can he say something like that? It's like he wants her to be raped. Instead of writing stuff like that he should pray for them.

He was speaking about how women seduce men with provocative attire, sleep with them and then turn on the guy and claim 'rape'.

1 Timothy 2:9 says "I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes..."



It speaks about how a decent woman should act and dress. Then it goes on to speak about how a decent man should act.

May God have mercy on your soul for spreading perverted lies about His Word.

Obviously, it is not ONLY sluts who get raped, as there are plenty of innocents who get raped, but a lot of sluts get raped.

The only point the guy has is that fashions are ridiculously slutty nowadays. Women not only look stupid wearing them, but they put themselves at risk by inviting some really gross attention. Gross behavior gets gross attention.

So HE is a fraud for framing the scriptures in a negative way. He totally TWISTED the meaning of scripture with this passage. All so people can accuse the Word of God.

I'm sure some of these fringe "Christian" groups are used as psychological warfare to demonize Christians either by design or they're simply given the spotlight.

I think it's safer to say that "intoxicated people are at increased risk for sexual assault". Lots of non-sluts get raped. It's usually the drunk girls that get rides from random dudes at the pub. That's not to say that drunk dudes don't sometimes get raped as well. Jeffrey Dahmer used to love to rape drunk/intoxicated dudes. And then eat them.

"In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array". Clearly women who aren't properly dressed all get what they deserve!

And God is also very clear on what should happen after rape: marriage! Deuteronomy 22:28-29 "If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days."

Lay hold of doesn't mean rape. It means physical contact. It doesn't imply non-consensual sex.

In fact when one of David son's raped his sister, another brother killed him.

Although the Bible doesn't promote rape promiscuous women often put themselves in more dangerous situations than chaste women who carry the Holy Spirit.

Not always true, but chastity can provide you with divine intelligence by way of the spirit that will help you avoid situations and people you should avoid to protect yourself.

You can't rape the willing, so the only way to end rape for good is to always put out :)

Ya the "holy christian "Bible" is discusting in its bias towards woman. Ever sense the end of the dark ages and religion started running amuck woman have been de-valued. Here is a thought for a thumper, we see this quite often in the news, A elderly( im talking 70 plus) woman is alseep in her home, she is woken by a male intruder who has slipped in through a open window and he visciously rapes her, is she a whore? a young little girl is walking to school she is so proud, she is in the 2nd grade and today she is teachers helper, suddenly the perv down the road spots her, grabs her and visciously rapes her and tares her innocents right out of her life, is this young child a whore? Religion is for MEN to beable to commit horrific sins against woman and humaity using religion to get away with crap.
Same with Islam, they can rape a woman or child and the female gets stoned to death, afterall it ws the womans fault the man could nto control his thoughts his hard on...blah to religion its is a evil ma minded plot against females

WTF, rape is not about how women dress, it is about power and control, anger and hate.

An eighty year old woman that gets raped is not dressing provocatively or "asking for it", yet those that commit rape prey upon the weak and vulnerable.

As for the bible, reading it, with all it's horrible ant-female rhetoric is what opened my eyes to the truth, a friggen man that hated women wrote the thing.

I believe a lot ; not all but a lot of rapes occur out of the making of bad choices

1. being in a bad place...going to bars...and other low life places

2. be-friending the wrong people...due to drugs or for other issues

3. having the wrong people as 'friends' who introduce "you" to bad people


I think if women are smart, clean, and don't get involved with bad people they are less likely to be victims of a rape
