I'm sorry you don't feel prayers do anything. As a Christian I believe in the power of prayer and have witnessed that healing power first hand. While death may come to us next from the radiation, I stand strong in my faith and know that the path my family and I go down is a path directed by God who is the Father of our home and in the drivers seat of my family's lives. Leaving is not something I can do and to be honest, living on the West Coast in CA it is far to late for me to leave with my family as we have been dealt a daily dose since March. Besides, the reality of it all is two fold. First, all our hairs are numbered and no matter where I go, when it is my time to go, I will be called home. Second, the world is in crisis, there is no safe place right now. If you run from radiation you run to far worse things.

The day that thing blew I knew that the people on the planet would be fked for life. Generations will be changed because this problem isn't going away soon. It's just the beginning. It will eventually be in everything we consume. The ones who lied should be held accountable.

They won't equate the two together. When people start coming down with cancer here in the states it will never be related to Fukushima. Your symptoms of losing hair are likely related to decreased thyroid function which could be related to radiation exposure. Doctors will laugh at you if you go and tell them you think you are suffering from radiation exposure. Go to your doctor and tell them you are experiencing hair loss and tell them if you are fatigued or any other symptoms you have. Ask them to check your thyroid levels. You can also paint yourself with iodine tincture/povidine iodine if you want. There are dozens of threads on here from March that explain exactly how to do it. We did it in the beginning but stopped a few weeks into it because it seemed the threat had passed (or so we were told).

At this point it will just be best to support your thyroid function by ensuring you have enough iodine intake as well as eating healthy. I swore I had given up fruits/veggies when Fuku happened and swore i'd never let my kids have them in the coming years. The reality of it is that at this point, no one is going to admit anything to us and life must go on. Live in THIS moment and don't fret over what could happen tomorrow. Life is short, don't waste it worrying about something that may or may not happen. Live each day like it's your last and you will live without regret. Hugs my friend...
