This is the stupidest load of drivel I have heard this week! You contradict yourself fundamentally in your first paragraph...The bible is provably penned by God in one sentence and in the very next you say that it was penned by people who were INSPIRED by God. There is a distinct and vast difference between writing a book and inspiring someone to write a book.

It must be nice to be able to restrict your imagination to these simplistic terms, because it makes all life and philosophy so simple that it needs no deep thought. For instance the "Gods Debris" concept in Scott Adams thought experiment fits the "One God" model but diverges very significantly from the conventional Judeo/Christian/Islamic models of a conscious controlling entity. This is just one of the many cosmological models that include a God or Supreme Creator theory. The god models presented by all the Abrahamic religions all lead to logical fallacies and dichotomies when analyzed using logic.

Jesus Christ IS God

the definition of Emmanuel is "God with us"

hence going to and through Christ IS going to God

the Father came through flesh to show us that He wouldn't ask or expect anything of us that He wasn't also willing to do

Christ was the sacrifice that allowed all to come to redemption through repentance, including all souls who had lived in flesh and died prior to same

so yes, going to/through the Christ is what gives you your credentials with regard to both knowing and understanding these concepts
