It's come a long way since it first started, not in terms of popularity lol but in terms of the overall site design and approach. Anyone can do that! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1506935Maybe, but it's still aesthetically pleasing none-the-less, right? |

You should look into getting a Diana or a holga toy camera. 35mm is not as good as 120 film, but it is easier to get. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1390406This is very interesting, just did some brief research on it and it looks very appealing. I'm definitely going to see what the prices are and check it out! |

hillcrest3 User ID: 1506677 United States 08/18/2011 12:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I would like to start a photo site for my work, as soon as I find my fugging Pentax... I think the poltergiest that showed up in my apartment in 2005 took it *sniff* it was an all-metal beauty, even my photography teacher wanted to snag it, he said they didn't make them like that anymore. memories... Water always wins. |
hillcrest3 User ID: 1506677 United States 08/18/2011 12:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | that's the lil wayward bitch, right there: [link to en.wikipedia.org] "The K1000's extraordinary longevity makes it a historically significant camera. The K1000's inexpensive simplicity was a great virtue and earned it an unrivaled popularity as a basic but sturdy workhorse. The Pentax K1000 eventually sold over three million units." "The K1000 is an almost all metal, mechanically (springs, gears, levers) controlled, manual-focus SLR with manual exposure control. It was completely operable without batteries. It only needed batteries (one A76 or S76, or LR44 or SR44) for the light metering information system. " ALL-MANUAL, BITCHES... that's how you separate the good photogs from the posers. OK, I'm going to drown myself in a bottle of wine now. hehe Last Edited by hillcrest3 on 08/18/2011 12:30 AM Water always wins. |
