Europeans do not originate from a christian heritage. It was enforced upon us by the Holy Roman Empire, who stole and modified not only the beliefs of Judaism, but also of Mithraism, Celts, and other pagan beliefs. I am of Celtic origin, thank you very much. My more recent ancestors may have succumbed to the oppressive "New Religion", but my true heritage derives from an age before the invasions of Rome. These ways are still heavily reflected in christianity, as they have not been able to stamp out the old pagan practices: Samhain= Halloween, Yule= Xmas, Ester= Easter, Lughnasadh=Lammas- for a start. Xmas tree=yule tradition to attract positive energy/life force (evergreen). Easter eggs and rabbits= Ester's fertility symbols.
I recommend you look into the Council of NICEA and Constantine and how they manipulated religion to regain control of the fallen roman empire after the Celts and Germanics destroyed Romes invasive rule over their lands.

It says McCain made these threats the day before, which [apparently] was Oct 20.


Oct 20 is a date that might relate to Oct 28.

Yup, the user name is "open" and the password is "time."

Before you rush to try it out, here is what you will see:

There are two directories, the "parent directory" which will take you to the front page for the site, and "manual-6." When you open that one, it simply says "wrong code used."

I know that Open has delighted in throwing puzzles and challenges at everyone, but I think you really need to concentrate on the manuals and see if you can make any progress with any of them.

Kinda hard to do at work, I know, but maybe you can read up on lucid dreaming while you're there . . .

That's significantly irritating that it was 'open' then 'time'. I had tried 'time' then 'open' and was devestated when it didnt work lol. But yeah, I agree with you, perhaps not the best thing to be attempting at work since it is more or less focusing on a metaphysical aspect I guess. My wife can apparently lucid dream and Astral project so maybe I could employ her? Meh, not really a personal journey sort of thin then lol.

Another thing is, my wife and I have been having this very odd sense of 'impending something' I guess you could call it? Anyone else feeling that...? She says it's kinda like if you do something you're not supposed to do and you know and are aware that action is prohibited but you do it anyway...? To me it feels more like there's something I should know but I don't. Perhaps like the opposite of Deja vu?... Strange dreams as well but I havent got enough of a memory to recall them...

Well, I think it would be strange if you and your wife weren't having feelings of impending doom . . . there are a number of things going on now - and for a few years - that indicate we all have "done something prohibited" and now is the time we must pay the piper . . . Whether or not you find Calleman's Mayan Calendar compelling or not, we are living in a time where several important strands of human endeavour are hitting the wall - all at the same time.

Many of us are aware - unconsciously at least - that our present technologies, geopolitical arrangements, socio-economic systems, etc, etc, etc. no longer serve us, and are leaving the fabric of the earth on which we depend in ever greater peril. As all of these systems fail, we will naturally fall into greater and greater turbulence - both in the natural world (as it responds to the impacts of technology) and in our societies. All of this is inevitable, and very painful.

But if the old does not collapse, how can something new rise to take its place?

Interdasting... I certainly agree with that aspect though; How many of us are aware. Our subconcious is reacting to what is basically the fabric of our existence (society, government, economy and in some cases [like with Neutrinos] the laws of physics themselves) deteriorating at an alarming rate.

As for dreams being important I'm convinced that they are already, although some bolstering wouldn't hurt. There have been a number of 'pseudo-prophetic' dreams I've had in the past as well as my wife. About this time last year I had a fender bender, and with the economy slowly tearing itself to shreds here in the US I had been too poor to properly repair my car. There wasn't much damage honestly, all I needed to do was repair a headlight housing and bend my tented hood back into position however, despite my attempts it had not gone down fully leaving a gap of eh... I'd say 2.5inches... Fast forward a few months and I get a text from my wife telling me to be 'extremely careful driving home' that day since she had awoke from a nightmare in which I had crashed and died... Later that day on my way home sure enough the wind picked up and the hood of my car whipped up and smashed my windshield 0__0

So I've come to realize with that alone that there's more to dreams than just one's imagination or recalling the day's events. *Note unfortunately here at work the link you posted is apparently blocked due to 'Illegal Drugs'... wow...

Also, I'm not sure if I'm the only one or not but often times I ponder to myself why all of this has come to be... I guess that's not a very good description... In idle times I find myself imagining sumerian hunter/gatherer doing his/her thing hunting and gathering and all of a sudden he/she decides to build a car and get a job and pay his/her fair share of taxes and etc. Just makes you wonder why. As in why this is all the way it is even though we knew it had all been for naught, yknow? =P

Wow, AC, that's an amazing dream story!! I dread to think what might have happened to you if you hadn't been forewarned, yes?

And as to why it's gotten this way . . . it's a long story - hah! It wasn't too long ago that a bad harvest would put many of us in fear for our lives . . . think of what the 1930's were for so many people, and the huge impact it had on the economy. We are still at the mercy of the natural world, and I think we would do anything - anything - to change that.

So a lot of what we are facing now is the result of injustices - after all, most of the world has had to live with very little while we (in the West) have taken far more than our fair share.

And we are living with unintended consequences of our technologies - even if all we wanted was to ensure that we had enough to eat, clothing, shelter that would keep us warm in the winter - so that we wouldn't die!! - well, here is where it has got us.

. . . and there is another thing we have lost touch with as the millennia rolled by - our inner life, ecstatic rituals, shamanic practices - practices that kept us in touch with a living, breathing cosmos, practices that taught us who we are, why we are here, what the meaning of our lives is. Without that, we have turned outward and tried to satisfy this inner hunger by things - careers, success, houses, cars, gizmos and gadgets. We need to satisfy our inner longing with appropriate food - good, nourishing, spiritual food.

Through the long course of human development, we gain a little here, and lose it there, and try to balance and rebalance . . . it is just that this particular moment in the history of the world, we are turning another corner. It feels really uncomfortable right now when we can't see where we are going, and we don't like where we are.

But it will change . . . nothing spectacular - no 'omg now our consciousness is transformed!' moment, but bit by bit, as we relearn and reclaim some of the things we forgot and lost - and learn something that are brand new.

It certainly did but now begins another day of work, and I wanted to share what I had gathered about the oct282011 site. I checked an archive of a thread on another site which gave me a really extraordinary list of links which lead to cryptic pictures and sounds and things. My wife should be emailing those over to me momentarily. Also, (I forget how you figure it out but) there's a cryptic number that was found and determined to be a phone number with morse code on it. The message is sort of long with dots and dashes (I called it myself) but I'm really hoping that someone could crack the code...? Just putting it out there!

That thought seems to resonate however. About how through human development we lose/ gain and attempt to compensate where we seem to neglect everything that had already been done for our race.

I for one am looking forward to this shift. I like that idea, that we would be able to have the knowledge of the things that our race has lost throughout the years. Thoughts on this?

Open seems to be pointing towards different states of consciousness, especially the consciousness experienced in lucid dreams. If you are "awake" during sleep and dreams, what is "awake" really? . . . and what is "reality?"
