New Madrid fault line. If that goes, we'll be in for some tough times.

I would be more concerned about Yellowstone after this.

Is this a bad time to mention that the island of Montreal floats perilously over a major Laurentian fault line?

From two days ago.

Re: Earthquake in Montreal
That's strange, someone here in northern NM was saying the same thing was happening here yesterday they saw multiple wrecks and then bam it all starts on the big ole rio grande rift in Colorado which runs right through here. (The not so little old fault line where the continent is tearing in the middle???). I've said it before tunnels underground are not going to be the smartest place to avoid this IF it cranks up another notch.

I am in Western Quebec and felt my entire body shake. Was very strange.

Yesterday I witnessed 4 (yes 4) car accidents. That is highly unusual and there were actually more like 7 and that is unusual for my area. I just found it weird and wondered if something was up.

I read about someone saying their mother passed out and ended up in a ditch when the EQ happened. Just a thought that maybe it fucks people up when big shit is about to go down.

My GF is up in Montreal and she said she didn't feel anything.

I'm in New York and I didn't feel anything but I was in a plane (parked not flying) when it happened.

All the people in the terminal here DID feel it.

The plate here in Quebec is reknown to be very hard and solid and it is why you need the entire tectonic plate to move at the same time to feel an earthquake.

Re: Earthquake in Montreal
On Saturday I was in Quebec City and in the afternoon, while walking in the lower historical downtown, I felt something.....felt immediately dizzy, a bit nauseated....it definately felt like an earthquake...which I have felt before. I came back to my hotel room to see if there had been one...but there was nothing listed.

Today, I did feel something again....
