This cd is really inspirational I'm about halfway through it right now. Really, we are at the time to open our hearts!!! We must learn to love everyone starting NOW it is urgent! Shows you that *popular* musicians are not going to fall into the NWO's evil but be on OUR SIDE!! Even music can help you find your soul, let Dream Theater, a band with a GOOD message, help you on your journey. In this game the lesson's in your eyes to see, though things change, the future's still inside of me. We must remember that tomorrow comes after the dark, so you will always be in my heart, with unconditional Love. |

The instrumentals are incredible pieces of music! I kind of miss Portnoy's presence, he hit his drums like he meant it. Magini is a phenomenal drummer, but I don't care for the sound of his drums.. sounds a bit too soft in the mix. Rudess' keyboard parts are too loud and obnoxious at times; however, when he turns off the over-synthesized effects and plays the piano, it's his talent really shines. 8.4/10 |

Are they not just a Metallica wannabe band? Not trolling, that's just been my impression of them. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1538028 NO... JUST ONE OF THE TOP PROGRESSIVE METAL BANDS THAT BLAZED THE PATH FOR MANY TO COME you can "dream" of having any talent that close |

I can see where people get that image ("dad" rock) but I promise they aren't. Trust me, I am 20 years old; I saw my first DT concert when I was 15...I don't think you can get me to attend a Metallica concert. They are legions beyond Metallica. A lot of emotion in their work. Nahhhh. I disagree; I can name imperfections in those bands, Dream Theater have reached the *notch above* when it comes to musicianship and skill. Anyway, one last bump before I head out. Really, this band is on to something and we can learn from their message. We are all ONE, we can achieve happiness and peace if we look within ourselves first...love your neighbor and enemies. Be spiritual!! Like I said this cd can help on the spiritual path. Peace. In this game the lesson's in your eyes to see, though things change, the future's still inside of me. They have tons of songs about TPTB and other conspiracies. This is one I really like about 9/11. Not exactly metal on this album, but still worth the listen, I promise. I have listened to them since the very first album, When Dream and Day Unite. They are some of the most talented musicians ever. Seen em twice, they are just as good, if not better, live! Ultimate in talent!!!! I highly recommend them to any music lover, especially instrument players. I love Megadeth, Dave has been my primary influence on the guitar, and I bought his Jackson King V Pro years ago. I bought the EB MusicMan Petrucci series as well. Both great axes. Thanks for this thread!!!! |

They definitely are in the *know* and are sending a message to the EVIL elite! Also, the songs are very spiritual, very insightful and wonderful meanings in the songs. I know a few people on this site appreciates Dream Theater, so I'm sure yall appreciate and support this band (who has a HUGE following worldwide) and SPREAD the message! We are one, and Good will overcome evil in the end. Times may be hard, but we MUST struggle and make sacrifices to become better people. Hopefully Dream Theater's new album will open the eyes of many... Quoting: EazyD Now THIS is synchronicity. I have none of their albums..I have only heard ONE of their songs..years ago...and I was just thinking about it 20 minutes ago. It was an amazing peice of musical wonder..a medly of every style of music ever done..and it ended with an epic climax..like the sort of music you would play as the world ended and time crawled to a halt. Its an instrumental..goes for about ten minutes. I cant remember its name..does anyone know the song I am thinking of? |
