Close encounters movie reference being right or not - the fact is, underground bases are being built all over the world. The US has increased it's construction of these things 10 fold in the last 10 years.

Whether anything happens in 2012 or not, someone isn't taking any chances. Who can blame them? What I find sickening is not the theory of the end of the world but the fact they have built these things with OUR money and not me or you stand a hope in hell in getting in. The very people WE voted to put in power and take our tax money to run our country for the benefit of US. They have taken that money and saved their own ass and that honestly makes me sick in the stomach. The balance of power is all out of place. They were supposed to be the voice of us all as a country but they are voice to only them selves.

Op....here is something else very interesting to think about.

The first confirmed planet orbiting binary stars was announced on September 15th.

The main speaker was from SETI. A large program to detect radio waves from other planetary systems.

SETI was shut down in April do to defunding by our government.

SETI was put back in operation, apparently yesterday, because of private donations.

SETI went back on line the same day.

Obama will be in Denver near or at the location of first contact in Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

The world they (SETI and NASA) found (Kepler 16B) was actually warmer than Jupiter and, more importantly, 40 degrees f. warmer than the moon Europa which orbits Jupiter and is thought to have life in its seas.

To write off this planet off (and/or its moons) as likely devoid of life is to ignore the fact that its: 1. warmer than Europa, 2. may actually get above freezing when the suns are in the right spots, and 3. has both rock and gases (like earth).

If it has moons the likelihood of life there is extremely high because Europa is 40 degrees warmer than Jupiter. If a moon for Kepler 16B was 40 to 70 degrees f. warmer than Kepler 16B, than its average temperature might exceed freezing, and it extremes may well exceed freezing.

Speculation:

Kepler 16B is the first known binary star planet, and despite some confusion from the media, its potential moons have more potential for life than Jupiter's Europa. It is like a first (albeit visual) contact.

SETI helped NASA make this 'first contact' discovery possible.

SETI is now going back online.

Obama is going to "Close Encounter" 'first contact' location just days after Planet Kepler B16 announcement.

SETI is online and able to receive alien messages just days before Obama goes to Close Encounter location.

President Obama will announce first contact with alien intelligence, via an alien radio communication at the location first contact was imagined in Close encounters of the Third Kind.


Note: The two blockbuster movies associated with this event are "Contact" with Jodi Foster (who helped get SETI back on line yesterday) and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."

I´m sorry to report that these coordinates are nowhere near Denver Airport.

They are in the middle of nowhere just off Route 85, between Ault and Pierce, Colorado.

The actual location is about 4 miles north of Ault along Hwy 85 in an open field. The site is directly south of Devil's Tower, so a likely error.

But, hard to believe that Spielberg made a mistake since in the movie, a close-up shot follows fingers on the lat and long lines that intersect at Devil's Tower. Plus the numbers are repeated 3 times.

So, either this slipped past Spielberg and all the producers as a glaring error... or he allowed it on purpose.

The town of Ault is a gateway to the Pawnee Grasslands...and eastern Colorado with over 5000 missiles for 'self-defense.' The missles are controlled by airmen from Warren air Force base in Cheyenne. Many live on site, underground.

Lots of hidden, underground bunkers over a huge region. If you mess around one of the sites, people come up out of the ground in jeeps with M-16's. I know that from personal experience.

Maybe there is an underground bunker or entrance to an underground bunker at that Lat and Long. Those missile sites and bunkers were probably built around 1976 or 77, so maybe the info is NOT AN ERROR.
